Droid joins 'Google phone' army in smart phone war
This is an article about Verizon's new smart phone, the Motorola Droid. With smart phone technology on the rise, and Apple having the marjority of the market for smart phones, this is Verizon's attempt to cut into the Iphones' market. Although Blackberry is the Iphone's main smart phone competitor, the new Droid is predicted to replace Blackberry, and become the second place mobile platform by the end of 2012.

A kid on my floor just got one. The thing is quite impressive. Don't really know how well it will stack up against the iphone but I can guarantee that they will have a lot of help from the verizon market considering that at&t are the only people that carry the iphone. Going to be very difficult for them to turn away the very loyal blackberry users in the business world though.
