Well Miley is at the center of another scandal. It's scary how much we think of people even when their work isn't even their own. The great world of popular music at it's finest yet again.

Pretty sad that in today's media-hype culture, you need neither brains nor talent to be successful...
ReplyDeleteIt's pathetic that she does not even know what it is she's singing about and has the mentality of 'well as long as it sells.' I am disgusted with today's performers and their lack of originality and creativity. The music that is genuinely good and creative does not reach a wide audience, but people will go on listening to what they are told is 'cool' or 'good.'
ReplyDeletePersonally i don't think that this instance is a big deal although it was odd that she would put that lyric in the song. However from her other "scandals" i think for the sake of young girls we can only hope she doesn't turn into the next Lindsay Lohan.
ReplyDeleteI am frustrated with the lack creativity with modern pop musicians. (Musician is a very strong word in this case.) Why can't we hear more indie rock on the radio, you know the really cutting edge, creative stuff?
