This is just generally referring to the Mass Media as a whole, and what's to be expected after something like this. Oprah hosted the woman that was brutally attacked by the chimp on her show and asked her to remove her veil to show her severely mauled face. This woman wanted to show everyone how strong she was, but the public has and will continue to criticize her just because she showed her face.

WOW....That is so bad that people will continue to insult someone who was brave enough to show the struggles that they went through and the outcome of those. Some people are just mean and she should not be criticized for sharing their story
ReplyDeleteIsn't Oprah in a way exploiting this woman and her story by having her on the show and asking her to show her face? Oprah knows that it will gain viewers because people are curious about what she looks like. But at the same time she went on the show, so she must be ok with it.
ReplyDeleteIt was a terrible incident and I feel horrible for that woman that she will be talked about and criticized for how she looks.
