I recently saw a commercial for LEGO Rock Band. Now don't get me wrong, I like rock band and I like LEGOs, but here we go with more homogenized products going onto the market. I remember someone in class saying that there is a problem with companies shoving more and more same-genre products down our throats instead of coming up with new concepts. Here's another example...

  1. Some of these companies have been going way too far. Have you seen the new similar product that came out called DJ hero? When I saw this in Walmart it made me laugh at how rediculous it was.

  2. The Lego series has been doing this forever. It doesn't bother or surprise me at all. There is lego star wars, lego indiana jones, ect. Same genre products...well that's easy because in all seriousness, how many genres are there really? Not many in my opinion.
